After my experience with the Video Designer Nina Dunn, I decided to join the Internship programme run by the Danish performance company Hotel Pro Forma. This company is a legendary performing arts company that puts a lot of stress in the aesthetic research for their productions.

The idea for this internship was to develop my creative and research skills within a team. Luckily, their current lines of research are focusing in interactive video and virtual reality, so I am learning with them on how to use 3D content creation software such as Cinema 4D or the node base programming environment VVVV.

Every month we organise an exhibition of the works we are currently doing. For the first exhibition I have worked with another intern on a multidisciplinary installation with virtual reality and physical set. We were researching on how to incorporate VR into a performance, staging the audience members to transform them into performers inside the set.

The subject of the installation is a journey into the underworld described in the ‘Epic of Gilgamesh’ which is the text chosen for the next production of Hotel Pro Forma.
